Phew, after a stressful term two, i started to post again! Ok lar! i know you all very anxious for a new post. Here i am trying to mimic derrick in the class blog and make a conversation of 2O2!

emil, gary and leqi went to stand next to Yang Wz.
Daniel whisper : " GG! You all kena le!"
Qiyu (whisper): " ZZZ, lame lar..."
Jia jie and laiheng :" eh.. what happen ar?"
Yang WZ: " WHO IS IT! OWN UP! I GO OUTSIDE FOR 2 minutes YOU ALL GO WILD IS IT!? WHO PLAY WITH THE LIGHT JuST NOW! OWN UP!"
Leqi : " no..no..not..not me.... i .. i ju.. i just .. go to...the ....the..switch..o..only..."
Daniel:"nice lie lar!"

Yuding : " qiyu, do you know what is a P*n*sfish? its a fish! incredible rit?"

Zheyi: "random lar, zzz, nice so sick!"

Yang WZ : " NOT YOU! WHO IS LYING! NO ONE PLAYING< THE LIGHT WENT ON AND OFF AND ON ANd OFF AND ON AND OFF!! NOT YOU MY GHOST! ( direct translation from 不是你个鬼呀！）"
Gary: " Mr yang, think about this. How is it possible for one to play with teh switch 1 time only, of course will alot of time right? cannot be 1 time only what!?"
Siyuan : " is that suppose to make me think it make sense? Well it did not work...hehehehe!"
Bennett: " walao! nice copy lar!"
Gary: " i think emil did more than 1 time! "
Qiyu: " zz, sabbo!"
YangWZ : " Emil! COME OUT! OWN UP!"

YANG WZ: " OK! YOUUU THREEEE GOOOO DISCIPLINARYYYYY MASTERRRRR TODAYYYYY AFTERNOONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!"

Yang WZ:" XUYANG! YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DANCE! NEXT WEEK DANCE INFRONT OF US! YOU THReE MEEt DISCIPLINe MASTER AFTER SCHOOL!"( well, we dont see that they went to see the disciplinary action and we dont see yang remembering it XD)

Sigh, it is such an hair-pulling experience to attempt the war poems.
Poem i chose

Rainbow Death
America did not foresee
Green, pink, purple and other colors death potpourri!
Expecting others to pay a high price.
Now thinking twice?
Toll on the innocent and unborn.

Omnipotent and disregarding who will mourn.
Reflective about all the illness, birth defects and prematurely dead.
All the deceit continues to spread.
Nefariously America led astray -
Generations untold WILL pay -
Execrable effects of agent orange spray!


Wow, this poem may be short but OMG! Never underestimate a poem by its size ! Haha! Never underestimate Joshua Loh hor.... Random...Ok my analysis starts here:

This poem is about Huber Wilson who went to Vietnam to fight for the USA but his health slowly became "lousy" and his limbs started to suffer tremendous pain but the doctors could not find the reason behind this, thus, he retired and started writing poems.

This poem is mainly about the modern day ingredient of warfare that has caused appalling death and suffering – not only to its intended victims, the Vietnamese people, but also the service personnel that used or even just came into contact with “Agent Orange”.

(So, what is Agent Orange? Agent Orange is the code name for an herbicide and defoliant—contaminated with TCDD—used by the U.S. military in its herbicidal warfare program during the Vietnam War.)

"Green, pink, purple and other colors death potpourri!" I think why this sentence is written is because there is not only Agent orange but Agent green, Agent pink, Agent purple, Agent blue and Agent white! During the production of all this "agents" ,dioxins were produced as a contaminant, which have caused numerous health problems for the millions of people who have been exposed.

In the last three lines of the poem, all of them end with an "ay" which probably emphasizes on how serious and dangerous it is to start a war and warns us never to start war again to prevent the suffering from all those people.

Finally, i think that this poem is named Rainbow death is because agent Orange was by far the most widely used of the so-called "Rainbow Herbicides" . Thus, it is to describe how dangerous and harmful and the huge amount of death caused by Agent orange.
